Also, fingers crossed, I may have found a new roommate. It's a little complicated, since she's a British citizen currently in Guam on research, but she seems like a super sweet girl and I hope it works out. She just needs to pass a background check, so I'll let you all know how that goes.
When you say Background check, do you mean like a real police background check? or just getting to know her a bit better and asking people who may know her, whats she's like?
ReplyDeleteI've lived in many shared housing before, and I've never come across this practice, just curious :)
Aaron, I live in an apartment complex, so the landlord has to run a background check on anyone that wants to move in, just to be sure they aren't a felon or anything like that. And to make sure they weren't a troublemaker at their previous place of living.
