Announcement!
Next month I will be raising prices in my Etsy shop. This decision comes only after reading way more articles than I should have needed to on not undervaluing your work. Because of this, if you see something you want in my shop, you should buy it before next month, because the price will be higher then. I have a few more things I'll be listing in the shop this month, including some paper goods for scrapbookers, smashbookers, card makers and other people who like cute paper things. So if you're a person who likes paper, watch for those. Here are pictures of just some of the items currently for sale in my shop.

Friday Fashion: Going Gray
Lately I've really been loving the look of gray outfits with pops of only one color. Well, in theory, and on Pinterest, because I only own two items of weather-appropriate gray clothing, aside from a pencil skirt which is not suited for my day to day life, and no plain gray accessories. So I am living vicariously through Pinterest and Polyvore. Look how good it looks!
So there you have it, grey or gray can be paired with pops of only one color in so many different combinations. You can wear lots of grey with a little bit of color, lots of color with a little bit of gray, or a pretty balanced amount of each. It also works for a variety of situations, from a fancy dinner to a day in the office to a day off or a day at the beach.
Hopefully next Friday I will be able to share What to Wear: When Being Attacked by a Dalek. It includes pictures of me trying to be sort of scared looking and just looking bored!
Orange & Grey Dressy Casual by heather-rolin featuring coral jewelry
This is a very work-friendly outfit. It says orange and grey, but I would call it coral and grey. The amount of
color and grey are pretty balanced. I really love the look of the ruffled top with the structured blazer and bag,
and the coral accessories and shoes also help make an otherwise drab outfit really fun.

This is a more casual outfit. It has mostly gray with only two small pops of turquoise.
I really like how the scarf has both gray and turquoise on it to really tie everything together.
Plum & Gray by amyjoyful1 featuring fishing hats
This one has a lot of color with a smaller amount of gray. I really love the cardigan and the tanktop.
This one is sort of a business casual or day off outfit. I could definitely picture a barista wearing this outfit.

Simple DIY Hair Flower Holder
I bought some really pretty hair flowers off of eBay recently (from this seller). I wanted a way to store them that would also display them nicely. When I was really little, my mom always stored my hair clips on ribbons hanging from my wall. I had some vintage lace that I found at Goodwill for just a dollar. I decided to just fold it in half and not cut it so I can still use it later for jewelry if I want to. Since I'm moving down the hall at the end of this month I just hung it from my portable closet for now, instead of poking more holes in my wall. All I did was fold the lace in half, loop one end around the closet rod, clip the other end on with a flower hair clip, and clip the other ones on at regular intervals.

Where to Go in Seattle: The Experience Music Project
Ever since G and I first started dating nearly a year ago we have been planning to go to the Experience Music Project at the base of the Space Needle. We finally ended up going last Thursday. It was so amazing, but my favorite part, besides the instrument tornado sculpture, was the Science Fiction exhibit. I took a ton of pictures and then my camera battery died so I used G's camera phone, which has amazing picture quality. I haven't gotten the pictures off his phone yet, but when I do I will definitely share them. (There's one of me getting attacked by a Dalek!) When we left I realized that I had checked my jacket at the counter and forgot to pick it up, so then G had to drive me back down to get it on Friday before we left to catch the ferry. Anyway, here are my favorite pictures from my camera.

| I tried to take a picture of the instrument tornado sculpture distorted in the wall. It turned out even more distorted than it looked but I like it a lot. |
