Two for Tuesday: Paper and Ink and Geoevolution

Two for Tuesday is a post series where I share two great Etsy shops and two of my favorite items from each one.  Click the image to go to the product on Etsy.

My first choice this month was a blog friend's shop, but I did not choose it because of that.  I chose it because I love zines, and while I have not purchased these zines yet, they are definitely on my list for once I have spending money.  The shop is called Paper and Ink and it sells zines written on paper and printed with ink.  The artwork and lettering is absolutely gorgeous and I imagine that the writing is equally great.

that hand-lettering! *swoon*

I really adore the fact that the title is made of planks

Lately I have been finding boxes of rocks everywhere I look: antique stores, estate sales, thrift stores, etc., and I can never resist picking out and purchasing a few of my favorites.  The next shop I picked is the online shop version of a really great box of rocks.  To me it's like a treasure hunt but every piece is a treasure in itself.  This shop is Geoevolution and they sell real fossils, gorgeous minerals and preserved life.  Their items are great for collectors (these would look great in a cabinet of curiosities (and if you actually have a cabinet of curiosities you should know that I'm super jealous of you!)).  They are also great for classrooms and, in my opinion, for unique jewelry supplies and great product photo props.

If any of you feel like getting me a present, this is at the top of my wishlist!

This would be a gorgeous unique photo prop.

Two for Tuesday: Aaanouk and Goshdarnknit

Two for Tuesday is a post series where I'll be sharing two great Etsy shops and two of my favorite items from each one.  Click the image to go to the product on Etsy.

The first shop this week was a pretty easy choice.  I adore raw stone jewelry and this shop is full of it.  The shop is Aaanouk and these are two of my favorite items from it.

The oxidized metal looks amazing with the light blue stone.

These are such a pretty color that I wish I could wear stud earrings.

The second shop is one that I've liked for awhile.  Goshdarnknit sells some really cool original art and notebooks.  I really like all of the people ones but I chose my two favorite non-people ones to share here.

I love the pretty shade of blue on this one and the cool design.

These sunflowers are super detailed and very pretty.

It's pretty obvious from my favorites this week that I'm really ready for spring, and luckily for me we've been having some lovely spring weather in Seattle lately.

Two for Tuesday: Anna Joyce and Rachel Pfeffer

Two for Tuesday is a post series where I'll be sharing two great Etsy shops and two of my favorite items from each one.  Click the image to go to the product on Etsy.

I picked Anna Joyce this week because the fabric is so bright and colorful and great for spring.  Her shop contains all sorts of lovely sewn goods, including purses, totes, clutches, table linens, and pillows.  I love the bold prints and fun patterns.  These two items are my favorites from her shop.

This hoodie has been a favorite of mine on Etsy for a long time.  It just looks so cozy!

I love the design on this pillow.  It also comes in blue, but orange is my favorite color.
I discovered Rachel Pfeffer Designs over a year ago and I love everything that she makes, so it was really hard to choose just two favorites, but I did it, kind of.  I won't say that these two are absolutely my favorites but they are definitely two of my favorites.

I really love the look of the double chains on each side of this.

I love mixed metals, and I adore the stunning blue color of these stones.

Two for Tuesday: Weirdly Cute and Iluxo

Two for Tuesday is a post series where I'll be sharing two great Etsy shops and two of my favorite items from each one.  Click the image to go to the product on Etsy.

I may have featured the first shop on my blog before, but I don't care.  I love this jewelry.  The first shop is Weirdly Cute, which has tons of jewelry, all cute and unique, and sometimes weird (which is coincidentally how I like my men).  These are my two favorite pieces from her shop.

This necklace is so cute and incredibly unique.  And it will last a lot longer than an actual goldfish would.

I'm always drawn to weather-themed jewelry and yet I don't own any.  I can't wear studs but these are still amazing.

The second shop this week is Iluxo, which contains some amazing jewelry, as well as home decor and accessories.  It would have been hard to choose two favorites if I hadn't excluded the jewelry from my choices, in the interest of promoting a variety of products.  But you should seriously check out the jewelry; it's amazing and the wooden pieces are so intricate and lovely!  Here are my two favorite items from Iluxo, and they're both clocks.

This clock is both gorgeously detailed and simple at the same time. (Pun not intended.)

I tend to really gravitate toward things with cute woodland creatures and this stunning modern cuckoo clock is no exception.

Two for Tuesday: Vera's Eyecandy and NarjisDesigns

I'm still trying to figure out a format to share Etsy finds.  I'm going to try out this one and see how I like it.

Two for Tuesday is a new post series where I'll be sharing two great Etsy shops and two of my favorite items from each one.  Click the image to go to the product on Etsy.

The first shop this week is NarjisDesigns.  This shop is filled with some of the most unique and creative jewelry I've ever seen.  And I feel like the items are seriously underpriced, which means that you can get an amazing one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art for next to no money.  Here are my two favorite pieces from her shop.

Vera's Eyecandy is the second shop this week.  This shop sells some really cool clothing, including cute dresses made from band tee shirts.  And her prices are lower than you would expect for handmade clothing.  These are my two favorite items from the shop.
