I'm Still Loved

I received my third Liebster Award today.  This time it was from The Cozy Pink Cottage.  Thank you for the award and for liking my blog : )  I am a rebel who likes to break the rules for blog awards so the only part I'm doing is answering the questions.  I'm not making up new ones or anything.  As far as passing the award on to other deserving people, if you want one, take it.

The Questions:

1. What was the last book you read? Hideaway by Dean Koontz; It was so good, as most Dean Koontz books are.

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world money not being an issue, where would you go?  Finland; they have a huge metal (music) festival and a really cool art festival that I want to go to at some point in my life; It's on my bucket list.

3.What is the most exotic thing you have eaten? probably frog legs

4.What's your favorite drink at Starbucks? I never go to Starbucks because it costs money which I do not have, so I don't know.  If they have chai lattes, then it's that.

5.Summer/ Fall/ Winter/ Spring?  Spring or Fall; I'm not a fan of extreme temperatures.

6.What do you love most about blogging? all of the people I get to know who I would never have "met" otherwise

7.Who is your favorite artist? Painter, Photographer etc..  Wirrow

8.Three words that best describe you? creative, hard-working, quirky

9.If you could start all over in life, Would you change anything? No, because the decisions I have made have led me to be where I am now, and while I may not be in the best place in my life right now, I wouldn't change it for anything.

10.Coke or Pepsi? neither; I rarely drink soda but if I do it's root beer, cream soda, or orange soda

11.Whats the one beauty product you can't live without? chapstick, because my lips get really chapped; fun fact: G calls lipstick, lip gloss, and chapstick "wax" and he doesn't like them but I wear them anyway because I'm a girl and that is my right.

And I won an award for my beauty posts! I was completey surprised when I found this in my inbox, and I am so grateful for it.

Also, fingers crossed, I may have found a new roommate.  It's a little complicated, since she's a British citizen currently in Guam on research, but she seems like a super sweet girl and I hope it works out.  She just needs to pass a background check, so I'll let you all know how that goes.

I think that Liebster should mean love, but it doesn't.  It's actually German for "favorite".  It's an award for blogs that have under 200 readers.  So here are my 5 picks to win this award.

Chateau de Victoria: She likes pretty things.  She posts pretty pictures.  And she's pretty. Enough said.

Defenestrated Feet:  Ellen is a blogger who makes me laugh consistently.  Her blog will give you an ab workout from all laughter you'll be doing and you might actually learn something, like what "defenestrated" means.

Into Geek: Dan is awesome and relatable and British.  He likes geeky things like Doctor Who and The Muppets.  And did I mention that he's awesome?

Lauren vs. Reality: I can't believe that Lauren doesn't already have 1,000+ followers!  Her blog was one of the first ones I read.  Her life is a sitcom.  As we speak, she is waiting in a long line of nerds for a Legend of Zelda poster, because she was hired to by someone on Craigslist.

Maedchen Mit Herz:  This girl is the most adorable girl in the entire world.  She makes cute crafts and she's super sweet and also awesome.  I couldn't find how many blog followers she has, but I'm giving her the award anyway, because I can.

Captain Obvious

First, something that's not so obvious. 2 people found my blog by googling "cats hate babies." I don't even know what that has to do with my blog.

Don't worry, it's just quantum mechanics.

Anyway, you might call me Captain Obvious for saying this, but quantum mechanics is confusing! I know right? I thought it would be a piece of cake, but noooo. Detect the sarcasm? We're learning about it in physics now and it consists of things like stuff being in two places at once and something about a zombie cat. Well actually, there's this thing called Schrodinger's Cat, where supposedly a cat in a box will be both alive and dead simultaneously until you open the lid of the box. Yep, zombie cat.



In other news, I had physical therapy today and I used this walking while sitting down exercise machine thing. I had to get as many steps per minute as possible, and I got up to 103 steps/minute! Now if only I could do that while standing, I wouldn't even need physical therapy anymore.
